Obituary of Rose Doreen Anderson-Herrick
(December 21, 1934~November 15, 2024)
In Bonnechere Manor on Friday November 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Wife of the late Desmond (Des) Herrick (1986-2019) and Lawrence (Lefty) Anderson (1957-1984). Dear mother of David (Shelley) Anderson and Julie (Butch) Villamere. Sibling of Celina (Barry) Petroskie (Timmins) and the late Vi (Gerald) Kurkoski. Predeceased by her sons Andy Anderson (Mona), Robert Anderson and her granddaughter Andrea Villamere. Survived by three grandchildren; Chris (Michelle) Anderson, Ryan Anderson and Brent Villamere along with three great-grandchildren. She was a stepmother to the Herrick family.
Doreen had deep love for her family, friends, being at the cottage, dancing, enjoyed watching hockey, playing golf and travel, taking beautiful trips in Canada/United States and beyond. She loved to engage in a good game of cards and was known to walk away with the jackpot from Bingo on many occasions.
Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S on Tuesday November 19th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and after 9am on Wednesday November 20th. A Liturgy of the word will be celebrated at the Goulet Funeral Home on Wednesday November 20th at 10:00 am. A Private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sunshine Coach http://www.sunshinecoach.ca/ (Friends of the Disabled) would be greatly appreciated.
