Obituary of Ilse Vooght

It is with sadness that we announce Ilse's passing in Ottawa on Friday April 14, 2023 at the age of 78.  Ilse was the loving wife of the late Jack Vooght who predeceased her on May 8, 2022.  She is survived by her son, James, daughter, Paula (Pierre Levac) and grandson, Trevor Vooght. She  was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Anna Van Woezik.  Ilse  is survived by her sisters  Agnes Lynch (late Harold), Thea Wilson (late Bob), Mary Humphries (Glen) and brothers John (Gerda) and Kevin (Sharleen), her sisters in law Caryl (Doug Cram) and Valerie (Doug Sheffield).

Ilse will be fondly remembered by her large extended family and many friends. Ilse was a registered nurse and will be remembered for her kindness to patients under her care.

A  Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Friday May 12, 2023 at 10:00 am. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Renfrew. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Ilse's  memory may be made to Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation.
