IISE was a very intelligent woman with a smile and she was so pleasant. I me IIse though my friendship with Jack Vooght who was my teacher in grade school and we never lost connection through my adult years. We would stop into the Vought's on the way back from Mt. St. Patrick on the way back form checking my cattle I raised there. Often times the Vooght's would be our in the yard doing yard work and they would signal us in for a visit, meaning my girlfriend at the time, Connie Shannon and we'd sit and chat for hours. They were such a loving couple. They brought us much happiness and laughter, and conversations of very much interest. We could neve forget them. Until we meet again, Love Steve.

We have many good memories of the times we spent with Ilse (& Jack) over the years, especially at their first home on 132. Ilse was a class act and a lot of fun. They complemented each other so much it only makes sense that they would be together again so soon.

Ilse was my Big Sister in training at Renfrew Victoria and what a wonderful friend she was. Took me home to the family farm on a Saturday and to ball games with them..and just loved this homesick girl so kindly. She and Jack treated me truly as a big sister and I am so glad we got to visit them most recently while they lived on Eighth St. Now I am so sad they are both gone.
