It was sooo sad to hear of Aunt Genevieve's passing. I felt truly blest to have had the privilege to speak with her on the phone, to thank her for all the Love and Support she and Uncle Harvey gave me years ago when I was a child, and which they continued right up until they passed. They were great role models in my life. Always ready to help and serve others. When I thanked her, she causally said that it was nothing that she did and instead asked me how I was doing, more concerned about my welfare all the while in hospice!
The McLaughlin's Andrechek's and Laginskie's have lost another Strong, Loving, Caring woman!

Extending my deepest sympathy and condolences to the McLaughlin family on the loss of a fine mother. Janet was a niece to my mother, Mary (Phil) Cybulski, formerly of Renfrew ON. As a child, visiting the McLaughlin home, was a lesson of family values in full display. Later in life, I recall meeting Janet and her sisters at the St. Casimir’s Parish Bazar (Round Lake Centre ON) and catching up on her family whereabouts. May her soul rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Genevie's passing, who was my first cousin....daughter of Tony & Julia Andrechik...from Round Lake, Ont.
When visiting Renfrew, whether for pleasure, and or business, a visit to W-Mart, always gave an opp. to meet them again,
and of course buy a ticket for some local cause. I awaited the phone call, to tell me that I won, but to no avail. It also was
an opportunity to catch up on activities of other members of the large Laginski family!
We offer our sincere condolence to her family, and will keep her and Harvey's names in our prayers.

Deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to the McLaughlin families on the loss of a very wonderful mother and grandmother. I had the pleasure of being a Euchre player at Harvey and Janet's home and oh so enjoyed the afternoons of fun and laughter and the great hospitality they provided. Also was privileged to meet Sister Margaret a Surgeon from Africa who spoke to us on the hospital she worked at and the many trials they endured to keep things going . Where else would anyone ever had that privilege but at Harvey and Janet's home ? May the good Lord comfort you all at this time.

Such a wonderful lady and family! A special family in the parish community ‘across the river’. Prayers for all!
I remember with deep gratitude the kindness of Janet and Harvey and their prolific sales ability in selling tickets for our parish when I started in Chalk River as Parish Priest.

I met Janet and Harvey through cards and then when working for RASHS so many years ago. Our best supporters and ticket sellers, they certainly took whatever fundraising event and faced the challenges with smiles and dedication.
A heart so big. A faith so strong.
