The Town of Renfrew has lost a valued community leader. Kathy was a woman who lead our girls through Girl Guides with caring, compassion and intellect. She gave her time and talents without thinking of receiving anything in return. She loved her family and always had a ready smile for others. My thoughts and prayers are with all those, who are surely to be missing her. God bless.

please accept our sincere condolences in Kathy's passing - she has had a long hard battle with kidney disease for many years - I remember back when she worked at woolco and had her first kidney failure - she always remained positive and upbeat - even in the past few years seeing her at dialaysis - she always had a friendly hello - may you rest in peace Kathy - I'm sure you will be teaching the angels to knit and crochet before long

I have been babysat by Kathy since infancy. As I grew up she also became my Girl Guide leader, and I always looked forward to our weekly meetings and camping trips due to her positive, nurturing energy. She always made me feel comfortable, welcome, and almost like one of the family in her house. She was a special friend, and I will miss her always!
