I was just thinking of Uncle Danny this past weekend after the snow we got down here near Kingston. We still have a lot of leaves on the trees here, and seeing the snow in the fields with them reminded me of that Thanksgiving in the '70s that Mom, Dad and I were driving from Whitby to Grandma's, and met icy roads and a snow storm up past Kaladar. Uncle Danny, Dave and Donny came across country on snowmobiles after dark to get us and bring us back to the house. I spent the rest of the weekend playing outside, flopping around in the snow in boots and a snowsuit 'way too big for me. Memories of Uncle Danny, Uncle Richard and Dad at the campground, or family meals at the house at Calabogie are some of the best ones that I have. Our heartfelt condolences to you all.
