Obituary of Dorothy Rose Cardiff (nee Lafleur)
Dot passed away peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late James Cardiff (1986), best friend of the late Russell Silflies (2002). Loving mother of Eileen Geddes (Grant), Glen Cardiff (Marie) and Marie Smith (Bill). Dearly loved grandmother of Jay (Fiona) Geddes, Rhonda (Dave) Summers, Bow (Jil) Geddes, Michael (Jenny) Cardiff, Dale (Debbie) Cardiff, Mandy Smith, Tasha (Martin) Quenneville. Cherished great grandmother of Noah, Cooper Geddes, Grant, Jordan Summers, Rory, Grady, Crosby Geddes, Jack, Owen, River, Chelsea, Holden, Isla Cardiff and Oliver Quenneville. Special aunt to her nieces, nephews, cousins. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Archie and Harriett (McCorriston) Lafleur, sisters Florence (James) Dagenais and Lois (Jack) Grundy.
Dorothy was a caring, loving, kind hearted person to all in many ways, always a smile and a story; loved people, dances, friends; she had many. She will be greatly missed by one and all.
Friends and family are invited to visit at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Thursday September 6th from 2-4, 7-9 pm and after 9:00 am Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius V Church, Osceola on Friday September 7th at 10:30 am. Interment parish cemetery.
