Edna LeClair was a great friend & neighbour. She and her husband Harold befriended my husband and me for many years as great neighbours .Ray knew he could always park his "precious" car in their extended driveway if need be, Harold did likewise with his car. Edna continued the charitable act after Harold's death. Edna was always interested in where our daughter Maureen was at.. She prayed for Maureen when she was at university and when she was getting married. . She always had great stories to tell about her step children and their children. She was proud of their accomplishments. Edna was a member of SFX CWL for 66 years. Last year she was very proud to receive her 65th Anniversary pin from President Joan Lemay. I was happy to be the CWL representative who took and paid a visit with CWL Christmas gifts to Edna as one of our elderly members for years. She was always very grateful for any gift and for the visit. She was a great promoter of CWL and had one of her Power of Attorney's, Barbara Carrier, pay her yearly fee in case she forgot. .She always told me that she prayed for all our members. She donated much of her lovely jewellery to our Rummage Sale last year. Edna had tremendous faith in God. She was a proud member of SFX Parish for years. She had several priests as friends and was happy to tell me that. May Edna LeClair rest in peace. May God reward her for her many kind acts, prayer and faith over her 98 years on earth.
