It is with great sadness we learned of Len's passing. Len was an active member and strong supporter of the Canadian Elevator Contractors Association (CECA) for 40 years. His friendly face could be found at many a CECA Central Region meeting and CECA Convention over the years - including last years' convention in Collingwood in which Peelle hosted. The times we spent together will be forever treasured in my heart. I feel saddened by the fact that we never had the chance to spend many more moments together. Len worked for The Peelle Company for 44 years. He started in the factory in the interlock department before moving into the office for a sales position eventually heading the Canadian sales territory as Sales Manager. As a detail-oriented salesman, Len earned the respect of his customers and peers providing accurate quotes and excellent sales response. His attention to detail and his in depth knowledge of our quoting process proved invaluable when it came time to modernize our price books with a computerized quote tool. Len created one of the most important devices we use today in order to quote jobs and secure orders. He was an integral part of the success of the Peelle Company. Len retired earlier this year after a valiant battle with cancer. He will be dearly missed and our condolences go out to his entire family.
