I remember Aunt Judy, my dear wife Joan's older sister as a kind and generous and very welcoming soul who truly enjoyed sharing her home and her heart with those who came to visit. Her wry sense of humor always brought smiles and laughter to a gathering.
I will miss her and treasure the memories of the many visits to her home over the years.

Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother, partner to Roy in life and business, and volunteer in the community of Denbeigh. Judy was a person who loved to laugh and have fun and she was a joy to spend time with. Judy was an incredibly fun influence in my younger years. From getting my brothers and I started with our first experience fishing, including how to bash the head in of our catch so that we could it eat (that may have been Roy, I'm not 100% sure) to cross country skiing out back of their property in the amazing trails during winter, it was always a educational and entertaining time to visit with Judy and Roy, Buff and Vern too. Lots of Love to Kenny, Chris and Michelle. Wish I could make it up to visit. Maybe soon!

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Judy's passing. She was a lady with a big heart and she would help anybody. I loved her feisty personality and her zest for life. Judy will always be remembered by me as my second mother. Because she was ten years older, she was very involved in our care as infants. After our mother died many years ago, she did her best to be the matriarch of the family. She made baby quilts for each of my boys and knit sweaters for them when they were young. She welcomed them to her home on winter and summer breaks for a taste of rural life away from the city. She even taught them how to fish. She will always be remembered in our family for her feisty personality and her generous heart.
