Obituary of Roy Kenneth Stewart

Peacefully at his sister’s home, on Monday April 2, 2018 at the age of 55.  Loving soul mate of Cathy Stewart for 14 years.  Dear son of Geraldine Stewart-Gallagher  and the late Kenneth Stewart.  Dear father of Pierre Levesque and Candy (Mike Sauve).  Proud “Poppa Roy” of Kerry, Hope, Ashton, Destiny, Tyson and Skylar.  Dear brother of Andrew (Janice), Kathy Carthy (Gerard), Cindy (Jason Efthymiou) and Ricky (Betty).  Loving uncle of Chris, Tamara, April, Tracy and Mallory and to several great-nieces and great-nephews.  Predeceased by his godson Codie. Roy will be sadly missed by Cathy’s children Blaze Stewart (Erin Godin), Angela Gibbons (Ken Baird) and their children.  At Roy's request private family services will be held.  Donations in Roy’s memory may be made to Hospice Renfrew or the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Oncology Unit.  Online condolences/donations may be made at www.gouletfuneralhome.com.  Roy’s family would like to thank the incredible staff at the RVH oncology unit and Dr. Langlois for the compassionate care and support given to Roy during his illness.
