I have not seen Owen since we were both young adults, but I remember him for the kind and caring person he was. If you fell down and scraped your knee, Owen was the one to pick you up, dust you off and assure you all would be okay. The many condolences from friends show that did not change as he journeyed through life.

Hello Enright Family:
I was there yesterday and thanks to Betty I was made aware of his passing. I enjoyed the service as I was at OLF under very different circumstances some years ago when Bob Imbleau passed.
What I remember of Owen - mischievous and never would see you stuck. I can still see the boy in the man.

Owen cherished his family and I know he will really be missed.
Owen was a generous friend, willing to do whatever you asked and sometimes even what you didn’t ask! He was a source of physical and moral support.
He always had a story. I often sidetracked him but he was always able to get back to his story.
We watched many hockey games together. One year, we pledged to cheer for the other’s team once our own got beat out. That year I cheered for Chicago. The next year when he had to cheer for Vancouver, I made him wear my extra Canucks jersey. That was the worst idea ever! Owen was a terrible Canucks fan! He complained the whole time making it hard to enjoy the series. But thinking about it still makes me laugh.
For years, Owen and I visited twice a week. I am really going to miss those coffees and chats.

I was sorry to here of Owen's passing, my sincere condolences to the Enright Family. Although I haven't seen Owen in a very long time I still have many memories of our walks up the tracks to St. Joe's, working in the store with him, his expertise in the pool hall and his unique laugh.
