Carolyn, sending prayers to you and the family during this extremely difficult time. Some of my fondest memories as a child was hanging out in Golden Lake with Uncle Samson and Aunt Olive. Going with my Dad Don Ransom and my Grandmother Julia (Ransom) Amikon Vincent. Visiting you and listening to stories about my Dads cousins, Hector, Claire, Betty and Adele. My deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all, he will be greatly missed. My best memories while I worked at the Manor was visiting and joking with Hector, even to trading our hats! My early morning coffee chats before work where him, myself and Earl would laugh and he would always tease me. I'm sick right now not sure I can make it but he will always be in my heart. My deepest condolences to Carolyn and family with Hector's passing. I was fortunate to meet Hector and Carolyn when I was living beside them out at Hurd's Lake as a young girl. I spent countless hours with my favourite neighbours who were beyond kind and patient with a warm smile and an open door. I still fondly recall the best treat bags ever when stopping by their home/cottage when Hallowe'en came around. Hector was a truly lovely good person who will be deeply missed.
