Obituary of Mack Donald Wilson

Peacefully surrounded by his family in Ottawa, on Sunday November 26, 2017 at the age of 79.  Loving husband of Gail Purdie for 55 years.  Dear father of Julie (Brian Botting); of Ottawa, Susan Wilson (Brent Carson); of Renfrew and Jim (Marayka);  of Toronto.  Proud grandpa of Connor Botting, Max Wilson and Logan Wilson.  Dear brother of Fay Starostic, Eleanor Wilson (John McMahon), Heather Wilson, Doug Wilson all of  Niagara Falls  and Ron Wilson of Australia.  Mack was a generous philanthropist in the community and  gave both his time and money in support of a variety of causes in the town of Renfrew. Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle Street S, Renfrew on Wednesday November 29th from 2-4, 7-9 pm and after 9am Thursday.  Funeral Services will be held at Trinity St. Andrew's United Church, Renfrew on Thursday November 30th at 10:30 am.  Interment Douglas Public Cemetery.  Donations to Valley Animal Rescue or Douglas Public Cemetery would be gratefully accepted.  Online condolences/donations may be at www.gouletfuneralhome.com
