I happened upon Sandra's obituary this morning in the Ottawa Citizen and was carried back to the late 1960's when my small family moved to Burlington, Ontario. We settled into an apartment building on the same floor where Gary, Sandra and Cathy were living. We became friends and spent good time together as young families. I remember Sandra as a woman overflowing with energy and a love of living a full life.
My sincere condolences to Gary and his immediate and extended family. May you all find peace and comfort in the love and care of your family and friends.

Sandra was certainly a one-of-a-kind lady. We've laughed together, we've cried together, but more laughs. She now has the peace she wanted. Another beautiful angel in the sky. We will miss her so much.
