Ill miss our long phone calls and chatting drinking coffee at the farm. Nobody understood kids better than Oma and the advice you gave me will stay with me forever. Ill teach my kids to knit the Dutch way, just like how you showed me. Love you Oma.

As interpreted by Heidi Birtch. Thank you for saving my life. When on the operating table and my intestines burst and the vet called the owners to say it was much more complicated you said not to worry and you would pay for it. Glad I got to bug you, the nurses and support workers and delivery people every day. Even visited you in hospice. I would've died at 10 months old if it wasn't for you. Now I am 3 years old, Donation will be made to Valley Animal Rescue. Not sure how to put on website but it will be made. From your over curious, loving, ugly tailed dog.

Sorry to hear of your loss. My kids (Michael & Brennan) also referred to her as Oma as her role as a Grandmother extended to many outside the family. She will be remembered as a very strong and vibrant woman with a huge heart. I can still visualize her climbing through the woods to get to Don & Carole's walk-in campsite - amazing. Dear Heidi & all the family,

I have many great memories of Mrs. Zeyl from the Dunrobin days, where we'd just show up & she would add another chair to her busy dining table. Always welcoming us, making us feel at home.
