Dear Ila and family....Please accept my sympathy on the passing of Clarence. I have so many fond memories of Clarence and my father (Verner Stein) going to horse pulls together and visiting with their "horse" friends and their lengthy conversations on the telephone. We had a colt born on the Stein farm in 1970 and Clarence came 3 times that day to see the colt....which brought a big smile to my father's face.
Clarence had a smile that could light up the world. He loved to visit with people and I remember stopping at his house in Denbigh to see him and Ila after he had the stroke. I would say to him..."Clarence..what is my name?",,,,he would say "I'm not sure of your name but you are the Stein girl who loves the horses".....and I would say...."thats good enough for me Clarence"...and he would smile.
So, to Ila and all your family....may you all find peace and comfort in the wonderful memories that you have of your beloved Clarence. May God bless you with peace and understanding.
