Sorry to hear of George's passing. My condolences to George's family. I met him briefly at my uncle Glen's. There where lots of laughs and life stories that George and Glen shared with me. Would have been fun to grow up with this pair sounded like there were a few times the "boys" had a little to much fun or partied a little more than they should have. I enjoyed very much spending time with them.

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of George, a wonderful man, a great companion and brother-in-law and a truly authentic character of the Calabogie area. I first met George during Christmas 1953 at Spruce Hedge and we had some truly memorable experiences after that during the 50s and 60s when our families were growing up. He will be missed. A special thank you to Sheila who looked after George so well after Kay passed away in 1983.
