Dearest Sutcliffe Family,
We are deeply saddened about the death of Auntie Clare. She was always such a memorable part of all of our family gatherings. Her deep, throaty laugh will always be remembered. We know you will always feel her loss but hope that all of your fond memories will help ease the pain. You were all wonderful to her in her last years, so we know she passed peacefully and feeling loved.
Our sincerest condolences,
The Comeau Family

My sincere sympathies to all of you at this difficult time. I have many special memories of Clare at the lake and all of you as we were growing up. Please find strength in the thought that there will come a time when you will be able to remember her with a smile and not tears. Love and hugs to all.

To the Sutcliffe family,
We're so sorry to hear about Auntie Clare's passing. She was a wonderful woman, and a beautiful reminder of our own grand-mother (Clara). Lisa will be there to represent us but know that our thoughts are with you.

Our sincerest sympathies to the Sutcliffe family.
Clare was an exceptionally caring and wise woman who we all will sorely miss. She was such a feisty, independent lady who took on the world on her own terms. I guess growing up with five siblings (all girls) with only a single parent (a father), Clare early on developed a remarkable strength of character, adventuresome spirit, and great sense of humour. Of course, it helped that she was Irish!
She had an extraordinary nursing career in Northern Ontario, setting out on a Skidoo to isolated locations at all hours (night or day) to attend to whoever needed her care. But, this did not prevent her from attending to her own five children. The results of her devotion and love are her remarkable children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren--- a legacy of which Clare was so proud.
Good on you Clare---a life well-lived--we are so glad our paths crossed along the way. See you on the other side.
Karen and Richard Hookham

To the Sutcliffe family. It is very sad news that your mother Clare has passed away. I know she is in the loving company of my mother Theresa, and her sisters Helen and Clara. Your mother was so loving and she cared a great deal for all who knew her. Even as a busy nurse and mother she always had time for me which I will always cherish. I hope and pray that you all can be comforted that she is in great company in heaven,. I will always remember her iron will, loving heart and the best advise ever given for any situation. I wish that we could be there with you to celebrate her long life. If you get the opportunity to travel to the Pacific coast please drop by and we can enjoy a toast to all the Berigan sisters. Sincere condolences from Chuck, Kristi, Owen, Spencer Frappier

I am so sorry to hear about Clare's passing. She brought so much joy to the Blaheys and I would love when she was in Elliot Lake for a visit. I will delight always in recalling her and Clara laughing uncontrollably at some secret that they shared. When pushed to reveal why they were laughing, they would simply smile at each other and say "it probably wouldn't be funny to you". I am sure that there was quite the reunion in heaven. Please know that others are praying that you sadness lifts and you are left with only beautiful memories.
Love,
Rosanne
