I was very sad to hear that Rowan had passed away. She was a co-worker and friend.
She had such a way with the residents at the Manor with her kind soft spoken approach
and humour, always putting them at ease. She was such a nature lover and we always
talked about our sightings together. She was one in a million! I will miss her very much!

Rowan left us way too soon,
But knowing she's in a better place
Is comforting, and helps to soothe,
The void in our hearts, the empty space,
Rowan left us way too soon.
Being a devoted mother, she loved her children,
Though as a child herself, had raised her siblings,
But unselfish as always, she took on the burden,
So we who received, should count our blessings.

Sincere condolences to all family affected by Rowan's loss. She touched so many people's lives in her time with us. A big thank you to Denis for being such a rock to see his loved one go through this battle with such unwavering support. It is with much regret & sadness that my family & I grieve the loss of our dear Rowan, who fought her battle with cancer with dignity & shared her wonderful smiles with us as much as she could.
She will always be remembered for the kind & gentle woman she was, sharing her beautiful photography, jams, preserves & my dancing partner during the Christmas period here at our home....she was fun to be with & loved by many.
My son Denis has lost a wonderful partner & love....times will be difficult for him in the days & weeks to follow....he has done everything possible taking care of Rowan....we are very proud of you Denis, we will be present for you anytime you need us!
