Obituary of Irene Thompson

It is with saddened hearts we say goodbye to our dearest Mother, Grandma and Sister, who passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at the Shawville-Pontiac Hospital on Sunday December 11, 2011. Irene, beloved wife of the late Donald Thompson. Dear daughter of the late Francis and Ethel Gregg. Loving mother of Ron (Kelsey), Rondella (Stewart Wilson), Roberta (Pierre Bergeron). Predeceased by son Reg. Proud grandma of Krista, Ryan and Greg Wilson and Eric and Ian Bergeron. Dear sister of Iona Rosenblath (late Jim) and dear sister-in-law of Doris Gagnon and Muriel Caldwell. Predeceased by brother in law and sister in law Tom & Grace Thompson and sister in law Nora Callaghan. She will be sadly missed by her companion and dear friend Ken Cockerell. Irene will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.
