Obituary of Albert Robert Morrow

Peacefully at Bonnechere Manor on Saturday November 30, 2024 at the age of 82.  Beloved husband of Brenda Charbonneau for 56 years.  Cherished Dad of Rhonda (Kerr Childerhose) and Blake.  Proud and loving grandpa of Chloe and Emily.  Bert was the last surviving child of the late Robert and Hazel Morrow.  Bert will be fondly remembered by the Charbonneau family, his many nieces, nephews, cousins and the Calabogie Community.

Bert was known for his unwavering kindness, dedication, and community spirit. He had a deep love for his community and was actively involved in the Calabogie Lions Club. His generosity and service left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

His professional journey began with a successful career at Scotiabank, where he formed lifelong friendships and embraced the adventure of living in various communities across Ontario and Manitoba. Later, he pursued his passion for helping others by founding Ontrac Employment Resource Services, a business dedicated to supporting people in finding meaningful employment throughout Renfrew and Lanark Counties. As a compassionate leader, Bert deeply valued his employees and the meaningful work they accomplished together.

Above all, Bert was most proud of his family, who were his greatest source of joy. He cherished time spent by the lake, sharing stories, laughter, and creating lasting memories with those he loved.

Bert's warmth, humour, and unwavering commitment to his family and community will be fondly remembered and forever missed.

A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at Most Precious Blood Church, Calabogie on Monday December 9th, 2024 at 11:00 am.  Interment Parish Cemetery.

Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Pinnacle wing of the Bonnechere Manor for their extraordinary care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bonnechere Manor Foundation Pinnacle Unit or the Dementia Society of Renfrew County in Bert’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
