To Murray and all the Hawleys I send my condolences!
I met Gord a few times he live down the street from my dad Greg in Barry’s Bay. They worked together and were friends. The two were pioneers of rural electrification. Both are families, find ourselves grieving as both great men passed within a day. Both with 46 years to mother hydro, both the same age +/- a day or two.
No doubt heaven be a brighter place as both those lineman charge of the light!

To all the Hawley family, my very sincere sympathy on the death of your amazing Dad, such a wonderful, and good and decent man who lived just around the corner from me and my family. Take great comfort in the fact that he lived such a long and healthy life and left the world a better place for his being here. Sincere best wishes to all of you.

Mark, Jenn and Hawley family. So sorry to hear of Gord's passing. He was our neighbour at Lake Clear and always willing to lend a hand or offer advice to us over the years. He always looked forward to what we called the "Hawleyfest" where the yard was full of tents and good times.
He will be missed,
Garfield & Cheryl Rae

To the Hawley Family, our deepest sympathies on the passing of Gord. I will always cherish the memories of trout fishing with Gord on Lake Clear and rewarding ourselves with a beverage if we caught something and two if we didn't. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Gordon was my next door neighbour for 15 years. He treated me and my family with the upmost respect. A kind, caring, loving man. Over the last few weeks it’s beed sad walking along or fence knowing we couldn’t have our chats about fishing and hunting. You were a legand Gordon. We will all miss ya.
