Obituary of Johannes Veenstra

Peacefully at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Monday April 22, 2024 at the age of 83.  Cherished and loving husband of 60 years to Lillian (nee Hogeterp).  Beloved Dad of Christopher (Julie), Sabrina (Casey Vandersleen), and Durwyn (Gloria).  Proud and loving Pake of Braeden, Danyon, Jordan, Noah (Caitlin), Dustyn, Meagan, Curtis, Aidan and Brennan. Dear brother of John-Ray, Rea, Jean and Florence.  Johan will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews and the Hogeterp family.

Johan will be fondly remembered by his family for his great love of classical music, but he was a man of many passions, interests and hobbies.  He was a talented and prolific artist, consumate perfectionist and his love of learning will be his legacy.

A private family service will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, Renfrew.  Donations in his memory may be made to Sunshine Coach.
