Obituary of Jean-Paul (Jp) Leclerc

February 23,1971 – March 22, 2024

It is with profound sadness the family share the news of the passing of Jp Leclerc. After a courageous battle with brain cancer he passed away peacefully on March 22,2024 with his loving wife Esther, and his boys, Noah & Kaeden by his side.

Jp leaves behind his best friend in life and marriage Esther, and his 2 incredible sons, Noah & Kaeden whom he was extremely proud of. He is predeceased by his father Rene Leclerc (Sandra Clemen). He also leaves behind his mother Patsy (Mike) Maw, his brother Steven Leclerc (Pauline) and sister Linda Leclerc (Tony). His mother in law Linda (Kenny) Gervais, his father in law Steve (Peggy Williams) Seaman and his brother in law Ben (Rebecca) Seaman along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jp was a business partner and Vice President of ETM industries in Renfrew, where he worked for over 30 years. Jp shared many fond memories of working along side his business partner John Robertson and all the employees past and present of ETM.

Jp will be remembered for his love of life and adventurous spirit.  He spent much time with his family and friends in Calabogie, where he was the life of the party making those around him smile and laugh.  He had a mischievous nature and a sarcastic sense of humor that he kept until the end.  Jp left many gifts behind, with the most precious one being the joyful memories he made with those around him.

A Celebration and Tribute to Jp’s life will be at Barnet Park, Calabogie on May 25th from 1 until 4pm.  Words of remembrance will start at 3:00 pm.
