Marion was an intriguing person. Prior to her moving into the nursing home, she was a regular in my barbershop. She would stop in every day with a new joke or story, hoping to shock everyone or leave us in a fit of giggles. She did both. She lived her life on her own terms and inspired many others to do the same. She will surely be missed by family and friends, and I pray that she has found eternal peace. God bless.

I have many great memories of playing hockey on the creek behind Ferguson's house and Marion was always kind to me when I would come over to play with James. And I know she periodically kept my mother company when driving to or from St. Francis. I hope she is now resting peacefully. My condolences to James, Bob, Kelly and their families.

Marion used to visit Renfrew Public Library often and we enjoyed her company. It was very nice to read that she found comfort at the library in the Children's Department. She shared jokes, and would often bring in the flyers to show us some of the specials. RIP Marion. My condolences to her loved ones.

Marion was one of my favourite people and she , along with Eldon, created a daughter( Kelly) who has been part of my life for so long I can barely remember a time she wasn't there. She was funny and loving and cantankerous and open and her own self. I loved her and I'm blessed to have known her. The few times she allowed me to hug her stay etched in my heart and I hope she is at peace. She will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Sending most heartfelt condolences to Kelly, Bob , James et al.
Love Brenda Lee-Heilmann

I knew Marion through my work in the financial industry. She was very aware of her finances and made sure that we were doing the right thing. She also shared many jokes with us. I am glad to have known her and I am glad that she is at peace.
