Pat was a soulful man. Gentle and caring and just a great guy and a pleasure to say he was my cousin. Pat and I shared the same birthday, March 15th, so every birthday in the past 30+ years we'd go out and have a nice talkative lunch together an catch up.

To Pat's lovely family, I share this great loss so profoundly. Just know, you have his guidance everywhere you go for he's watching over you!
I'll never forget Pat, "The few year's we dated were always fun". I loved going up to Bernie's Bar and being amongst many of Pat's friends. Dancing with him at Bernie's and his favorite tune, "I'm Just A Jiggalo and ogf course his very pleasant demeanor. Pat, I never stopped loving you....forever in my heart Lynne.

My deepest condolences to Pat’s immediate and extended family, his partner, Dianne, and his many friends who I’m sure will miss him very much. As young sportsmen growing up in RENFREW, Pat was a constant source of inspiration as an accomplished athlete on the ice and on the field. His wide circle of friends and business clients can certainly attest to his generosity of talent, friendship, and spirit both as an athlete and an individual. He will be missed.

Dear Dan and Family and Diane, so very sorry to hear of Pat's death, a road that all of us must go down in due course. Pat was a great athlete and i knew him mainly through Oldtimer Hockey where he excelled. Our time on this earth can sometimes seem very short and hectic, so let us rejoice that you had him on this earth for all the years that you did.

I always thought of Pat as a leader in whatever he did, especially on sports teams. He was the Captain on our hockey teams we played for in Renfrew. We send our deepest sympathy to Dianne and the St. Michael family on the loss of Pat. Pat and Dianne were some of the first cottagers to welcome us to the lake 13 years ago. When Pat was well, you could set your clock to his afternoon kayak runs and to his and Dianne’s nightly pontoon rides around the lake. Pat regularly picked us and many others up for a ride and of course a chat. He treasured every evening on the lake, especially those with spectacular sunsets. Eternal rest grant onto him, O Lord. I had the honour and privilege of playing sports with and against Patty and I can say unequivocally that he was one of the very best athletes in the Ottawa Valley. Not only his talents shared on the field or Ice surface but also as a fabulous teammate in the dressing room and the bench. A quiet and classy leader!
I cannot help but think that the world is a much better place because of people like Patty in it.
