Obituary of Fred Gauthier

It is with great sadness that we announce Fred's peaceful passing surrounded by the love of his family at Hospice Renfrew on Saturday November 11, 2023 at the age of 81.  Loving husband of Deborah Baird for 44 years.  Dear Dad of Jodie-Lee (Ryan Comstock), Laurie, Shawn and Mike. Predeceased by son Maurice.  Beloved grandpa of Alexis (Jordan), Jadyn and proud great-grandpa of Carson.  Fred will be fondly remembered by his siblings Judy Wilson, Allan, Bernard (late Marie), Mitch, Darlene Barr and his sister in law Catherine.  Fred was predeceased by his parents Fred and Juliet (nee Major), his brother Marcel and his sister Dianne. Dear friend of Shirley Kohoko. Fred will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

A celebration of Fred's life will be held on Sunday December 10th from 1-4pm at the RCAF Wing Renfrew Lounge. Donations in his memory may be made to the Cancer Society ,the Robbie Dean Centre or Hospice Renfrew would be greatly appreciated.
