Obituary of Rodger Rosenblath
It is with heavy hearts, that the Rosenblath family announces the passing of Rodger Charles Rosenblath, at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital in the early evening of 12 August 2023, just shortly after his 70th birthday. Rodger had a long battle with cancer and was with his loving wife Sharon (nee Newman) when he passed. Rodger was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Helen (nee Ball), his brothers Mark and Dale. Rodger leaves behind his wife Sharon, son Jason, daughter Stacey Graham (Jeff) and the two twinkles in his eyes, granddaughters Nola and Jayda.
Rodger also leaves behind his siblings Floyd (Kathy), Ralph (Frances), Sharon (Cecil) and Ronnie (Pam). He is also survived by his sisters in law Tammy and Denise. Rodger was born 28 May 1953 in Denbigh. Rodger began dating Sharon in 1973 and the two were married in Denbigh in 1974. Rodger was a logger in his younger days and then worked in construction eventually with Sharon’s brother Christopher Newman (Inta), in Markham. Rodger had a love for the outdoors and many memories are shared with family and friends with fishing, hunting and camping. Rodger will be sadly missed by all the hearts that he touched.
A celebration of life to be held at the Denbigh Hall on 30 September 2023 from 2-5pm. In Memory of Rodger, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ottawa Heart Institute.
