My deepest sympathies to the Redshaw family. I first met Ray when I was a teenager in the early 1070s when my father and I were looking for someone who could tune up our ‘41 Olds, as well as the numerous Volvos that we had over the years. He also worked wonders on my sister’s Sunbeam Alpine. At the recent Father’s Day Car Show at the Billing’s Estate Museum in Ottawa several of us were recalling the mechanics that had worked on our cars, and Ray’s was the first name mentioned. May your memories of him bring you comfort. You are in my prayers.

My dad Ed Taylor first met Ray when they both joined English Motors in 1955 from England. They became firm friends and often holidayed together at Mazinaw Lake with the families, Miriam and Judith and Ed’s family Hazel, Laura (me) and Kathy. We moved back to England but have fond memories and look through the photos often. I have tried to find Judith to reconnect several times.
Thinking about you Miriam,Judith and family. Love always - Laura Nutt, (Taylor) xx
