Obituary of Shirley Ann Galley

After a life well lived my beloved Mom passed away peacefully at Hospice Renfrew on Monday June 19, 2023. Shirley Ann Galley (nee Hall) was predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Austin Galley (deceased Aug 28, 2002). Cherished Mom to Liane Christine Galley and her husband Danny Boucher.

Mom was an avid reader, gardener and world traveler.  Throughout her life she travelled many countries on several continents including  Africa, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Singapore, Cambodia, Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, New Zealand, Amsterdam, England, France, Bermuda, and Alaska.

It is known by her friends and family that she had a great sense of humor and loved nothing more than to laugh and have a nice glass of red wine shared in the company of those she loved.  She will be be sadly missed by many and will be welcomed home by many that left before her...that's going to be some party!!!

At Mom's request she will be buried with her beloved husband in Montreal at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice Renfrew.
