Obituary of Darlene Shields

Peacefully at Hospice Renfrew on Friday May 26, 2023 at the age of 66.  Loving daughter of Phyllis and the late J.P. Shields.  Darlene will be lovingly remembered by her step-father Leonard Rumleskie.  Cherished sister of Karen (Stephen Brennae), Tom (Leslie), and step-sister of Diana (Edward Etmanskie), Nancy (Raymond Yanderlole), Ernie ( Delores), Shirley (Brent Edwards), Basil (Lynn) and Lorraine Lance. Darlene will be fondly remembered by her nephews Grant (Heather) and Bradford (Dominique), her niece Arleigh, her great-niece Zoe, her great-nephew William, the entire Rumleskie family and her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends at Community Living.

Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St S, Renfrew on Thursday June 1, 2023 from 6-8 pm and after 9:00 am Friday.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Renfrew on Friday June 2, 2023 at 10:00 am.  Interment Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Brudenell.  Donations in memory of Darlene may be made to Community Living or Hospice Renfrew.
