To all who will miss John in their lives
Barry and I have known John for many years and our hearts are filled with memories. These past few days have been a constant reminder of the many things we did together. John brought this beautiful young lady to meet us, it was very heart warming to see their relationship blossom. Then we had the privilege of being part of their wedding day and that seems like only yesterday. And as the story goes they became parents and our children were together often and shared many firsts together. Barry and John shared mechanics in common; John being Barry's apprentice. I enjoyed teasing John - don't be such a grump - he would grin back at me and you can just imagine what he told me. He made me a beautiful recipe box and a handy small tray for my morning coffee. We were both heart broken to see John's retirement come with health problems that did not allow him to enjoy the time he worked so hard to get to. Our hearts were touched by all the actions Bonnie took to ensure that, even that this time was difficult, that John's care came first and she kept him updated on all that was happening in their live. I am sure he heard everything. I had the privilege to visit Joh with Bonnie and I will treasure this time forever. We are so grateful to have called John our friend.
