Obituary of J. E "Ed" Fortier

Ed Fortier (Retired Teacher) peacefully, with his sons by his side in his 96th year at Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew. Predeceased by his wife Marg (2003) and seven brothers and sisters.

Father of Michael R. (late Dianne) of Renfrew; Larry (Mary Jane) of Lakeland, Florida; Thomas (1964), Paul (Christine) of Omaha, Nebraska. Ed also left behind 4 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren.

Ed will be dearly remembered by his family, friends and many former students. A Memorial visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St. S, Renfrew on Friday April 14th from 6-8 pm.  Donations in Ed's memory may be made to the Bonnechere Manor Foundation.  Online condolences/donations may be made at www.gouletfuneralhome.com
