Obituary of Marcel Joseph Ouellet

On March 30, 2023, Marcel Joseph Ouellet, aged 82,  passed away quietly at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital.  His kind nature, generosity and warmth will be missed by his wife of nearly 60 years, Joan ( nee Giroux), his children Marcia and André ( Cindy), his granddaughters Olivia and Natanya (Joe), and his great grandchildren, Valerie and Emmett. Beloved brother of Raymonde (Richard Lariviere, deceased), Aline ( Gary Mc Callum/ Rheo Laplante, both deceased), John ( Gail Ouellet), Paul ( Bonnie Ouellet), Danielle ( Roger Vachon) and Peter (Shirley Riopelle).  Predeceased by his sister Cecile( Maurice Essiambre, deceased), and brother Gilles.  He was also a loving uncle to 33 nieces and nephews and great-uncle to many. His absence will be felt with the same intensity as his hug, hand shake and smile. 

Greatest heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of the Complex Continuing Care Unit at Renfrew Victoria Hospital. The gentle and sweet care shown was beyond compare and Valley proud. Much love to Gloria Carr, Fr. Kerry Brennan, Tania Leclaire-Campbell, Gerald Tracy and D’Arcy Slater  for the loving support and care extended to our family. This time would have been unbearable without you. You

In lieu of flowers, Memoriam donations can be made to Hospice Renfrew, Renfrew Victoria Hospital or the Ottawa Heart Institute. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated  at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 331 Plaunt St. S, Renfrew, Ontario, at 10:30 a.m.on Monday, April 3, 2023.
