Our deepest sympathy to all of Pat's family. Pat was a true friend to so many and we played bridge for over 50 years!! Our group of, first four, then five and then six became fast friends who enjoyed many laughs together and shared outings. We watched our families grow up and become young adults that we were all so proud of them. Pat was a kind and generous person; always supportive and much loved by all who knew her.

Our condolences from the Rubie house hold. I recall numerous visits to the house to pick up my son and there was Pat amidst the chaos of the Nathan and Dustin and my son and other teen age boys, eating and hanging out. I think she was in heaven. Always with a smile, always interested in the doings of our family, always a story or two while we waited for the boys to conclude their computer game. She will be missed.

Our condolences go out to all of Pat’ s family. Having taught with Pat, I witnessed the love she gave to the children in her care. She was a devoted mom, to not only her own children, but to the many children who came to her home and hundreds of others who she welcomed each and every day at school. She will be fondly remembered by so many of these people and I, too, will miss her genuine warmth and easy going manner with which she displayed. She is now an angel looking over all of you and how proud you must be to call her “Mom”!

I was sad to hear the loss of Aunt Pat, she was a kind, warm hearted lady!! Her house was always open to all. I looked forward to her visits when I was able to get back to the Frew!! My mother would always say how Aunt Pat made the most delicious cinnamon buns!! My last memory was a luncheon date we had while home visiting which I will cherish. Couldn’t ask for a more loving Godmother. My deepest condolences to her family!!

Mrs. K was my grade 6 teacher. She was always quick to smile, quick to laugh. During high school, who else but Pat could have calmly put up with a rock and roll band practicing in her basement? My condolences to Dan, Jack and your brothers and sisters on the loss of your matriarch.
