Obituary of Felix (Phil) Williams

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Felix (Phil) Williams announce his passing on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022 at Hospice Renfrew in Renfrew Ontario. Phil is predeceased by his loving wife Ann (Follett) in May 2015. Left to mourn are his daughters Margaret (Peggy) Williams (Steve), Deborah Ann Brisson (Serge) and Arlane (Lane) Williams (Celine); grandchildren Lisa (Brisson) Wolfe (Damon) and Phillip Brisson (Summer), and his furry friends, Jax, Bijou, and CeeCee.

Phil was born in Whitbourne Newfoundland on Dec. 26, 1929. He married Ann Follett in April 1953, and together they raised three daughters. He worked as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement in 1988 when they relocated to Ontario. Phil loved to sing and spin tales and jokes to make you laugh. His mischievous smile and kind nature will be remembered by all who knew him.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Phillip Pinard and the team at Hospice Renfrew for their amazing care, compassion and kindness. Visitation will be held at the Goulet Funeral Home, 310 Argyle St, S Renfrew on Friday November 25th from 6-7 pm with a Liturgy of the Word to follow at 7pm. Donations in memory of Phil may be made to Hospice Renfrew.
