Obituary of Werner Schulz

With deepest sorrow, the family announces the passing of Werner (Vern) Schulz, on November 5th, 2022 at the Ottawa Civic Hospital after suffering a series of strokes. Born in Berneuchen, Germany (now Barnowko, Poland) on August 30, 1929, Vern immigrated to Canada in 1952 determined to make a better life for his young and growing family. Loving husband to his late wife Luise Schulz for 69 years. Beloved father of his cherished daughter Gabrielle, and sons Karl (Marcia), Brian (Donna) and Len (Nancy). Proud grandfather to Tanya, Eric (Julie), Heather (Daryl), Kevin (Jennifer), Katherine and Zachary (Melissa). Adoring great-grandfather to Abigayle, Kaylee, Sophie, William, Nikola, Annabelle, Grace, Sloane and Evelyn. A funeral service, interment, and celebration of life will take place at the Zion Lutheran Church, 26622 Hwy 303, Ladysmith Quebec at 2pm on November 20th. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Goulet Funeral Home, Renfrew.
