Obituary of William "Laurier" Bennett

It is with great sadness that Laurier's family announce his sudden passing at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Friday October 7th, 2022 at the age of 60. Cherished husband of Cathy (nee Yolkowskie) for 33 years. Loving son of the late Ray Bennett and Angela McEwen. Dear brother of Perry (John McAllister), Douglas (Brenda) and brother in law of Richard (Cathy), Angela and Mary-Anne. Predeceased by his mother in law Margaret and father in law Desmond Yolkowskie. Laurier will be fondly remembered by his nephew Josh (Kelsey), nieces Ashley Ste-Marie, Lindsay (Brent Leech) and Robyn (Joey Hannaberry) and great niece Madeleine and great-nephews Byron and Julien and his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family wished to thank the first responders and all of the staff at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital for the compassionate care that was provided to Laurier and his family. At Laurier's request there will be no public visitation. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Goulet Funeral Home.
