I am sorry for your loss Andrew. Your mother was a lovely, kind and brave woman with a delightful sense of humour. She looked after me and my sisters before I was 13 years old in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. I am 81 now. I got in touch with her many Chridtmases since by telephone or letter. I only learned of her death today while I was looking to get in touch with her again this Christmas. She loved you very much Andrew and was very proud of you. Ada MacDonsld

Mass will be said for her on January 2, 2022 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, at 5:15 pm, 520 Sherbourne Street, Toronto.

Dear Andy, I came late to the party. On a very lucky day in 1993 I met my mother Mary Ellen, my brother Larry and my sister Daphne. Later on I met Aunt Theresa and Uncle Andy and they were all so kind and welcoming to me. I loved listening to Aunt Theresas' family stories about the Ryan farm and the funny stories about their eccentric neighbors. I really admired her absolute faith that she would be re-united with Andy and all the Ryans one day. When I called your mother on the phone she was so happy to hear from me. She always thanked me for calling and always said "I love you dear" when we said Goodbye. I will miss her a lot. Love from your cousin Ann.

Andy, I am filled with sadness with the loss of Aunt Theresa. She was such a kind person, always up for an adventure. I will remember her smile and her laugh. I wish that I had lived closer to her so that I could have spent more time with her. The only solace that I have is that she is at peace now, reunited with your dad and other family members who went before her. I am glad that you were able to be with her at the very end, holding her hand.
