Another light went out in Otter Lake with the passing of Bernard. He was a proud member of the volunteer fire department and all those who have served or are serving now know just what a commitment this takes to be part of this dangerous job. He took over his family business and solved many puzzles on how to fix something that did not work. We always looked forward to receiving Bernard's call telling us "its fixed". Bernard served as a great example of a member of the Otter Lake Community who cared about people and helped out whenever he could. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace our friend. Our deepest thoughts are with you all at this difficult time. Bernie was one of the best, always kind, caring and giving. He was a very special guy and was a great bus driver which went above and beyond. He will be missed by many of us who knew him.
