Obituary of Mavis Johnston

After a long battle with cancer, Mavis passed away at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Sunday March 20, 2022 at the age of 68. Beloved wife of the late Phillip Johnston who predeceased her in 2015. Loving Mom of Krista (Michael DiBartolo). Proud and loving grandma of Anthony. Dear sister of Mary (Ron Dubeau). Predeceased by her parents Keith and Kathleen Hodgins and by her sister Sandra. Dear aunt of Robert (Jee-Eun) Murray, Jay (Julie) Dubeau and Sara (Shawn) Dubeau. Mavis will be fondly remembered by her many friends and co-workers at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital whom she worked beside as a staffing co-ordinator. Mavis will also be lovingly remembered by her many friends in Renfrew and Shawville. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Castleford Cemetery, Renfrew. Donations in memory of Mavis may be made to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation or Hospice Renfrew.
