Obituary of Mary Hass

It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the sudden passing of Mary Hass. She left us peacefully on January 30th at the age of 73, to join her husband, Michael. Daughter of the late Frank and Mary Ellen Mask (nee English). Wonderful, loving mother of Kathleen (Robert Carroll) and much adored Nanny to Maeve and Mikayla. Mary will be fondly remembered by the extended Hass, English and Mask families and her many dear friends. Mary was a caring person, a dedicated member of the Catholic Women’s League (CWL), a talented piano player, a teacher, a fantastic gardener and an avid amateur bridge player. However, none of those hobbies could compete with her passion for being a grandmother. We carry Mary in our hearts, always. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church Renfrew on Thursday February 3rd, 2022 at 10:30 am. Spring interment, St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Renfrew Food Bank. For those people who are not able to attend in person there will be a recording of Mary's Funeral Mass that will be posted on this website on Thursday after 4:00 pm.
