Obituary of Florence Leuders

After a valiant and brave effort, Florence passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus at the age of 85. Cherished mother of Douglas Kunopski. Loving sister of Donald Kunopskie, Nelson (Judy) Kunopaski and Jerry (Donna) Kunopaski. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Lucy, her daughter Debra Ann Leuders (late George Reid), her brother Patrick, her sister Marilyn Hutchinson and infant sister Margaret. Grandmother and best friend of Natalie Leuders (Wesley McLaughlin). The greatest great grandmother of Olivia, Alexis, Asher and Elyssa. Her favourite title of all, great great grandmother of Violet. Florence will be fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Honorary granny to many. Her family would like to express their thanks to the surgeons, doctors and many nurses at the Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus for the wonderful care and effort provided to her. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, Renfrew at a later date. Donations in Florence's memory may be made to CHEO.
