Obituary of Dorothy Ruby Dmytryshyn

Dorothy Ruby Dmytryshyn (née Wilson), lovingly known as “granny” to many, passed away at RVH peacefully Saturday December 4, 2021 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her parents Ruby (née Browne) and Osborne Wilson and the love of her life Adam. Loving mother of Lynn Postma (John) of Cambridge, Betty Wood (Donald) of Cobden, Audrey Salem (Walid) of Ottawa, Mark (Nicole) of Douglas and Shem (Chantal) of Renfrew. Proud granny to 12 granddaughters, 3 grandsons and one great granddaughter. She will be fondly remembered for her calm quiet demeanour, her industriousness and her love of gardening. It brought her much joy to cook, bake and make preserves for family and friends; warm bread and fresh brownies being family favourites. Foremost though, she was known for her strong faith in Jehovah God and regularly shared her knowledge of the scriptures with others. Special thanks to Dr. Anthony DeJesus and the nursing staff of the second and third floors at RVH. Also to Dr. Bodig Dr. Pinard, Dr Scarvelis and Dr Contreras for their continued care over the years.
