Obituary of Ed Sweet

Suddenly and surrounded by his family Ed passed away on November 16, 2021. Ed was a remarkably strong man who overcame many obstacles in his life. He always succeeded in whatever life put in front of him. He was a steadfast family man, a passionate gardener and successful entrepreneur. Ed was a loving husband to Cathy for 35 years, a devoted father to Candice (Colin Bennett) and Tanys (Greg Vanderlip) and the best Poppa to Rhett and Adley. He was a cherished son to Veronica Sweet and the late Ralph Sweet Sr, caring brother to Ralph (Denise) and Rob (Maebelle) and special brother-in-law to Kelly (Rod Eady). He will be truly missed by all his nieces, nephews and his many friends. At Ed's request, cremation will take place. Donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
