Jamie Mayotte

Obituary of Jamie Mayotte

It is with broken hearts that we announce Jamie's passing at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Sunday October 10, 2021 at the age of 49. Jamie is the cherished son of Susan and the late Brian Mayotte. Beloved husband of Julie Shean for 24 years. Proud Dad of "his girls" Andrea and Sarah. He will be forever remembered by his brother Jody (Linda), his mother in law Bonnie Shean (late Don), his brother in law Billy and his nephews Brayden, Taylor, and Bradley. Jamie was a dedicated employee of Valley Automation and Control and he will be missed by all of his extended family there. Jamie was a force of nature and he touched the lives of all who met him. He was a dedicated husband, dad and friend. He brought his love of music to all who met him, whether it be playing music trivia (even if he was a sore loser) or jamming on his guitar. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. "Enjoy your time hunting and fishing with your Dad, and driving the back roads with Don at the wheel." A Celebration of Life will be announced at a future time. Private family services will be held. Donations in memory of Jamie may be made to an education account that will be set up for Andrea and Sarah. Donations can be e-transferred to Julie Mayotte at jmayotte1@hotmail.com.
