Mary Alice was a remarkable person. She had strong opinions which she did not hesitate to share. But I remember her most as one who cared deeply for others and would do whatever was necessary to help. She was someone you wanted in your corner. My condolences to her siblings and the entire Enright family. While she has gone prematurely, her impact will continue to be felt through your many memories of her.

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of my dear friend Mary. I have known Mary over 40 years ever since we started work at the government. She had such a warm personality and befriended me kindly. I remember her first new car, and Mary was so proud...so we shared a ride and enjoyed lunch celebrating her new purchase. Over the years we kept in contact with telephone calls, Christmas cards, and in-person visits, so I will miss Mary dearly. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to her family and loved ones. Rest in Peace Mary, until we meet again. Elizabeth & Michael Vingerhoeds/Schrama, Chesterville, Ont.

My very sincere sympathy in the loss far too soon of a truly exceptional, wonderful lady who made the world a much nicer and more pleasant place by her being here. The only comfort we can take is that we had her on this earth for all the good years that we did. Let us all be proud to reach up and grab that torch that she is passing on to us, namely that torch of hard work, grit, determination and goodness and decency. Sincere best wishes to all her surviving brothers and sisters who were very good neighbours to our family(along with their parents) over the years and very sorry I was unable to attend the Visitation.

My deepest condolences to the Enright family on Mary Alice's passing. I got to know Mary Alice at Valley Heritage Radio and I instantly liked her. She was an honest, intelligent, kind-hearted, generous, friendly, fun-loving lady. The station came to life when Mary Alice arrived. She had such a great sense of humour and I will always remember her laugh. Her passing will leave a huge void in her family, St. Michael's Church and the entire community. My life was enriched from knowing Mary Alice. Rest in Peace, my friend.

Our sincere condolences to Mary Alice’s family at this difficult time. She was such a kind person. I worked with Mary in the government for close to 20 years and carpooled with her for a number of those years. I can still recall driving home from work one Christmas Eve in a raging snowstorm singing Christmas carols all the way home while we crawled along the 417. So many great memories. She was always the first to offer assistance or just a kind word when it was needed. Karen and I will remember her fondly in our hearts and our prayers.

My sincere condolences to Mary Alice's family.
I was so saddened to hear of my dear friend's passing. She was the best
friend anyone could ever have. She was such an important part of my
life.
We met in 1975 in Ottawa and quickly became the best of friends. We worked together, spent our lunch time together, met frequently for dinner and many day trips. We laughed, we cried. We had wonderful times together. After retirement, with her in Douglas and me in Brockville, we would meet up in Ottawa for lunches and gab fests. I was devastated when she told me she was ill. With the world health situation as it was, we were unable to meet.
There is an emptiness in my heart knowing I will never see her again. I will forever cherish the memories I have of the two of us. She will be forever in my heart and prayers.
