I was very honoured to call Clyde a friend, got to know him 23 years ago, such a great friend and wonderful man. Would do anything for anyone. I will miss my phone calls with him. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I had just moved across the street with 2 little ones. My husband worked out of town and wouldn’t you know on day one I locked myself out of my house. I walked across the street and met Clyde. Fortunately the former owner had left him a key. It was the beginning of an enduring friendship with the Dawes. I’m so grateful to know this family (and that Clyde had a key). My deepest sympathy Cathy, Erin & thé rest of the family. I’m sure he’s got one hand in the cookie jar and another making wings. He was loved as are all the Dawe family!

Catherine, our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Clyde was the kindest, most generous man. He will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him. I picture him smiling, sitting next to Dad as he's clipping Buffy's nails and waiting for Mémé to bring him some spring rolls.

Thinking of the family of the late Clyde Dawe. Accept our condolences from long-time friends Warren and Emily Dawe from Seal Cove, Con. Bay South, Newfoundland. Clyde will be forever missed and know that our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this most difficult time. We will miss his annual telephone calls on birthdays and special occasions of which he never missed. May his soul RIP and know that his memory will live on in us. Your journey is over, RIP Clyde.
