I was very sorry to hear of Mr. D’s passing. I spent many hours – days – weeks - months in his company back in the ‘70s cutting wood in the bush at Hyndford in mid-winter, and later building Dan & Kath’s (now Devin & Lisa’s) log home at Ferguslea over a couple of summers. Lounging around with him on the logs on those sultry summer evenings, enjoying a beer, he could always be relied upon for a quizzical comment or two about local events and personalities. He loved his woodwork, loved anything construction, worked very hard and was a good father. I believe that says it all. My condolences to the family. Kevin Keough
